So I was watching an episode of Super Secret Move Rules, and they were talking about Love Story.

This is the Ryan O'Neal vehicle which brought us the phrase "Love means never having to say you're sorry."

Both Jackie Collins and Frank DeCaro agreed that this is utter bullshit. Love means almost constantly saying you're sorry - you're sorry you didn't call, you're sorry you did this, you're sorry you didnt notice that.

Odd that a gay movie critic and the one self-aware semi-trash novelist out there would both agree on something with almost identical words.

And for all the quality of that movie, that is its one sort of catch phrase souvenir line, and it's such bullshit.

It should also be noted that this was said by a woman who totally burned Robert Evans in favor of Steve McQueen after an affair.
